I write when something within me feels ready to be spoken or when something within refuses to be quiet.
My poems are not born out of an attempt to impress, but from an urge to express. Sometimes the mind is at peace; sometimes it is stirred by a thought, a question, or even a contradiction.
I do not write because I have all the answers. In fact, I write because I am still searching. I am still discovering the poet within me and each poem is part of that discovery.
Through my poems, I try to understand life, belief, relationships, emotions and the silent questions within.
Some of my poems reflect on equality. Some question faith. Some simply observe life as it unfolds.
I write from my own perspective - honest, simple and just as it feels.
In a time when poems can be generated instantly through technology, I choose to write my own words. I use conversations and feedback as tools to refine my thinking, but the voice you read here is mine - evolving, imperfect and sincere.
If these poems resonate with you, even in a small way, the journey has been worthwhile. I would be grateful to hear your thoughts in the comments.
